(QNO) - On August 22, the Quang Nam Department of Agriculture and Rural Development formally welcomed a delegation from the Sekong Department of Agriculture and Forestry to the Nam Giang Border Gate Customs Branch in order to participate in a meeting on cross-border wildlife conservation cooperation.
At the meeting, Pham Viet Tich, Director of the Quang Nam Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, sent his best wishes to Sermsi Sulita, Director of the Sekong Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, and other delegation members.
He stated that the meeting would further strengthen the comprehensive cooperative friendship between Quang Nam and Sekong, especially in cross-border biodiversity conservation and wildlife preservation. The event is also part of the National Biodiversity Restoration Year Quang Nam 2024.
During the meeting, both parties discussed urgent issues and presentations, exchanged information, and ultimately signed memoranda of understanding.
