(QNO) - The Quang Nam (Vietnam) and Sekong (Laos) Departments of Finance had a working session on finance and budget on August 20.
At the meeting, Director of the Quang Nam Department of Finance, Dang Phong, talked about the outstanding achievements of Quang Nam in recent times and some highlights in cooperative relations, including finance, between Quang Nam and Sekong.
At the meeting, leaders of the financial sector of the two provinces focused on experiences related to budget work, state asset management, accounting management, inspection, tax, customs, and treasury.
In reply, Director of the Sekong Department of Finance, Khamhoo Onemany, said the working visit to Quang Nam aims to consolidate and strengthen the comprehensive cooperation relationship between Sekong and Quang Nam in general and the financial sector in particular.
He also hoped Sekong's financial work will receive support in terms of technical equipment and human resources training from Quang Nam province.
On this occasion, the Department of Finance of Quang Nam and the Department of Finance of Sekong province signed a memorandum of understanding on friendly cooperation in the financial sector.
