(QNO) - On the afternoon of October 17, the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum hosted the opening ceremony of the exhibition "The world needs female superheroes."
The exhibition is held in celebration of Spain’s National Day (October 12) and the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2024).
According to the leadership of the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, "The World Needs Female Superheroes" exhibition highlights and emphasizes women's contributions to society, while creating an artistic dialogue between comic authors from both Vietnam and Spain.
The exhibition showcases 64 works by 62 female artists from Vietnam and Spain, covering themes such as women’s rights, love, friendship, and society.
It is the clearest evidence of the infinite creativity of women, especially in the field of comics - the ninth art with great potential for development in Vietnam.
The exhibition runs until November 6, 2024, and is open to the public for free.
