The exhibition of Dialogue with Ukiyo-e is considered a fresh breeze of creativity inspired by long-standing traditional values. Inspired by Vietnamese available art supplies like dó paper, lacquer, and silk, in combination with the essence of creativity and the Japanese spirit of the famous Ukiyo-e woodblock prints and paintings, young and talented Vietnamese artists have produced unique works. These art pieces embody the spirit of the times and personal creativity, inspired by Japanese culture.

The Japanese doll is a familiar and long-standing image in Japanese history and a special cultural element of the Land of the Rising Sun.

According to Japanese beliefs, dolls symbolise luck, peace, and happiness. Traditional Japanese dolls come in various colours and shapes and are categorised into different types for various social purposes.

Each doll design is a rich emotional and intellectual work of art, reflecting the worldview and philosophy of life of the artisan who makes it. At the same, each has a high artistic and creative value.
