(QNO) - The year 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the Hoi An-Japan cultural exchange, which is jointly held by Hoi An city and Japanese partners.
The 20th Hoi An - Japan Cultural Exchange will take place from August 2 to 4 in Hoi An ancient town (Hoi An city, Quang Nam province) with several cultural activities, art performances, and interesting experiences such as enjoying Japanese tea ceremony, writing Japanese calligraphy, reappearing the wedding of Vietnamese Princess Ngoc Hoa and Japanese businessman Araki Sotaro, Hoi An - Japan food space, etc.
In particular, the event will include the ceremony for receiving a model of the Japanese Covered Bridge (Chùa Cầu) from the International Cultural Institute, an exhibition of Japanese dolls and Dialogue with Ukiyo-e paintings, the inauguration ceremony of the restoration of the Japanese Covered Bridge - a symbol of cultural exchange between Hoi An - Vietnam and Japan.
The 20th Hoi An - Japan Cultural Exchange will open at 7:30 p.m. on August 2 at An Hoi Sculpture Garden (Hoi An city) with the participation of Vietnamese and Japanese artists.
