(QNO) - In recent days, a trade promotion programme to introduce Quang Nam’s OCOP (One Commune, One Product) products in Japan has been organized by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and OCOP entities of Quang Nam province.
According to Mr. Pham Viet Tich, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Quang Nam province, the programme aims to support Quang Nam’s OCOP entities, agencies, and localities with opportunities to learn about the market, trade, and investment cooperation for promoting the export of Vietnamese goods to the Japanese market through an official channel.
On this occasion, the Quang Nam Department of Agriculture and Rural Development also supports the province’s units and localities in connecting trade with distributors and importers, promoting trade activities and potential OCOP products in the Japanese market, and contributing to sustainable product consumption.
The Quang Nam delegation also attends the Vietnam - Japan Trade and Investment Cooperation Conference and works with the Japan Trade Promotion Organization (JETRO) and Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) along with a number of Japanese investors from July 21 to 27 in Tokyo.
Besides, in Wakayama province, Quang Nam officials worked with the Business Association and the government of Wakayama and visited agricultural production and food processing facilities.
