(QNO) - The Hoi An Women's Union hosted a ceremony on December 7th to announce and present the registration certificate for the Kim Bong Community-Based Ecotourism and Agricultural Cooperative (Cam Kim Commune).
The Kim Bong Ecotourism and Agricultural Cooperative was founded to support the project on developing sustainable community livelihoods with ecotourism to promote socio-economic growth and biodiversity conservation in the Cu Lao Cham - Hoi An World Biosphere Reserve.
The project is funded by the Global Environment Facility. The cooperative focuses on developing experiential tours, clean agricultural products, and handicrafts.
On this occasion, the Women's Union of Hoi An city launched the website for the Kim Bong Community-Based Ecotourism and Agricultural Cooperative at dulichhoctapkimbong.com and handed over project equipment assistance to the cooperative worth VND 49.6 million.
