(QNO) - A conference on connecting trade between OCOP (One Commune, One Product) product suppliers in Quang Nam province and exporting enterprises and trade promotion organisations has just taken place in the Tam Ky city.
According to reports from the conference, Quang Nam currently has 407 OCOP products, including 302 food items, 32 beverage items, 24 medicinal herb products, 47 handicraft products, and two community-based tourism and eco-tourism products.
In addition, 246 among 407 OCOP products are certified at 3 stars and higher.
At the conference, several OCOP product owners of Quang Nam provided general information about OCOP products' raw materials, processing and brand building procedures, and stamps traceability.
In particular, the advantages and difficulties in trade promotion, product advertising, and selling were also talked about.
Representatives of supermarkets and businesses inside and outside the province informed about their operation, the need to connect and consume OCOP products, and related documents and procedures to bring products to the market.
On this occasion, representatives of 6 OCOP suppliers in Quang Nam signed memorandums of understanding to connect trade with 6 supermarkets and businesses inside and outside the province.
