(QNO) - American traveller Latifah Al-Hazza, a travel business owner, ranks Vietnam among the top 5 must-visit tourist destinations, Hoi An included, after she travelled to over 80 countries.
Latifah said that she loves Vietnam for its diverse landscapes, delicious food, and friendly locals. Her favourite spot is Hoi An, once a well-known trading port, now a scenic tourist destination with a winding river.
She recommends experiencing a basket boat ride through the Bay Mau nipa palm forest, a part of the UNESCO Cu Lao Cham - Hoi An Biosphere Reserve.
The Bay Mau nipa palm forest has become a top attraction in Hoi An since December 2017. Going to the forest, visitors can enjoy basket boat rides, traditional performances, local cuisine, and even rent tents for parties.
Latifah also loves Ha Long Bay for peaceful cruises, sunrise views, and activities like kayaking and hiking. She recommends Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City for history and culture, and Sapa for its stunning terraced rice fields.
She also suggests enjoying local food, such as pho, egg coffee, and green papaya salad with dried beef at night markets.
