(QNO) - A famtrip group of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam province, Quang Nam Tourism Association, travel companies, and international organizations in the locality took a famtrip to experience "Quang Nam Green Tourism" in Hoi An city, Dien Ban town, and Duy Xuyen district on August 14.
In Dien Ban, the delegation visited artisan Le Duc Ha’s Terra Cotta Studio, artisan Nguyen Van Tiep’s carpentry establishment (Dong Khuong Industrial Park, Dien Ban), Triem Tay community-based tourism village, and Triem Tay eco-tourism area (Dien Phuong ward).
In Hoi An, the delegation surveyed tourist attractions in Kim Bong carpentry village.
In addition, the group visited some traditional craft facilities, such as weaving mats, weaving baskets, building and repairing boats, and carpentry production. They also explored the daily lives of the local people.
In Duy Xuyen, the famtrip group experienced a basket boat ride in Tra Nhieu nipa palm forest (Duy Vinh commune).
The famtrip aimed to introduce potential destinations in green tourism development associated with rural areas and ecological villages in Hoi An, Dien Ban, and Duy Xuyen, thereby calling for investment and cooperation to promote green tourism in particular and Quang Nam tourism in general.
