(QNO) - Quang Nam Department of Home Affairs and Japan's IPM Company signed an online cooperation memorandum of understading (MoU) on March 28.
The online conference aimed to enhance cooperation in dispatching and receiving Quang Nam workers for internships in Japan, based on mutual needs.
Under the MoU, both sides committed to establishing and developing collaboration in sending Quang Nam workers to Japan under technical intern or specified skilled worker programs, in compliance with legal frameworks and their respective authorities.
The two parties will support job connections for experienced workers or those aspiring to work in Japan. IPM will also organize online Japanese language courses to benefit workers during their internships, employment in Japan, or upon returning to Vietnam and seeking jobs at Japanese companies.
Disadvantaged and ethnic minority workers from Quang Nam who are selected and dispatched to enterprises partnered with IPM, and have been confirmed by IPM’s partners to continue working or interning for over three years, will receive financial support for employment in Japan.
The maximum support per worker is 300,000 yen, based on actual invoices and documents provided. IPM will transfer the funds directly to the worker’s account in Japan within three months after they return to the receiving company.
The MoU will be in effect for two years, from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2027.
