(QNO) - Enterprises are interested in 18 major projects in Quang Nam, spanning industrial parks, urban areas, and airport infrastructure.
Reportedly, Vietjet and Anadi Group are exploring investments in Chu Lai Airport, while Thaco Group is interested in projects like the Cua Lo shipping channel, logistics hubs linked to Quang Nam seaports, and a centre in Nam Giang Economic Zone.
In industrial development, Bin Corporation Group plans to invest in Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park (Phase I), and WHA Group is considering an industrial park along the motorway in Thang Binh. Indusvalley Chu Lai Corporation is also eyeing Tam Anh 3 Industrial Park.
In real estate, Thaco Group is considering the Chu Lai Urban Area, meanwhile DHC Investment JSC is interested in expanding Ai Nghia South Urban Area (T12 zone).
By 2024, Quang Nam had licensed 14 new FDI projects worth USD 149.457 million and 39 domestic projects totalling VND 5,703.61 billion. The province currently hosts 1,373 active projects, including 206 FDI projects valued at USD 6.3 billion. Singapore leads in FDI investment, and South Korea has the most projects.
To boost investment, Quang Nam seeks government support for strategic sectors like airports, ports, and logistics and requests policies to assist existing FDI investors. The province also aims to attract major corporations to build a global supply chain ecosystem
