(QNO) - In the first 6 months of 2024, My Son Sanctuary world cultural heritage (Quang Nam province) welcomed more than 238 thousand tourist arrivals, an increase of 37.2% over the same period in 2023.
Among them, foreign arrivals reached 216,828 (accounting for 91%), mainly from South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, America, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, and China, while domestic arrivals reached 21,348. Total revenue was more than 34.6 billion VND.
Recently, My Son has completed wifi infrastructure, expanded electric and water cooling systems, and mobile shelters at tourist gathering locations.
In addition, the art performance program has increased by 5 shows a day, multilingual voiceover has been maintained, and green tourism criteria have been focused.
