(QNO) - On October 12, Phan Thai Binh, Deputy Chairman of Quang Nam provincial People's Committee, and the Quang Nam delegation had a working visit to Tokyo Seika, a partner of Thaco Group.
At the working session, Phan Thai Binh appreciated the strategic cooperation between Tokyo Seika and Thaco Group. He also highlighted Quang Nam’s strengths in unique agricultural products, infrastructure, and investment potential.
Quang Nam is concentrating on developing trade and services via key projects in logistics centres, free trade zones, and regional markets for agricultural products.
In high-tech agriculture, the province is planning to establish over 10 zones and a national pharmaceutical hub with Ngoc Linh ginseng as a key product.
Tokyo Seika is currently importing bananas from Thaco Agri and plans to import large quantities of pineapples. Tokyo Seika has the potential to grow its sales network in Vietnam, particularly in Quang Nam, which will allow it to bring additional agricultural goods to the Japanese market in the future.
