(QNO) - At Chu Lai port, THACO AUTO has exported a batch of painted car bodies and spare parts of the Kia New Carnival to India, marking a deal worth nearly $50 million.
In June 2024, THACO AUTO exported painted car bodies and spare parts of the Kia New Carnival to India for production and testing. The products, meeting strict global standards, were well-received by Kia India.
With advanced technology and equipment transferred from Kia Corporation (South Korea), THACO KIA's products meet Kia's global technical standards.
The port's collaboration with international container shipping company RCL to add direct maritime routes to Chennai, Kolkata, and Kattupalli (India) has facilitated easier import/export, reduced time and costs, and increased THACO AUTO's competitiveness in the Indian market.
Recently, THACO AUTO has expanded its market, exporting to countries like the Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar, Kazakhstan, and India.
THACO AUTO is focusing on R&D and mastering the entire production process to become a leading manufacturer of THACO-branded trucks and buses.
