Quang Nam and Da Nang stands out with impressive figures in tourism

According to Da Nang Statistics Office, in the first 8 months of this year, revenue from accommodation and food services is estimated at 18,299 billion VND, accounting for 20% of total revenue and marking a 27.3% increase year-on-year. Of which, accommodation revenue is estimated at 6,830 billion VND (up 32.6%); food service revenue is estimated at 11,469 billion VND (up 14.8%).

In the past 8 months, local accommodations served an estimated 7.8 million visitors, up 33.4% compared to the same period in 2023. This includes 2.8 million international visitors (a 30% increase) and 5 million domestic visitors (a 35.5% increase).

In August 2024, Quang Nam also recorded 640,000 tourist visits, a 9% increase from the same period in 2023. This included 410,000 international visitors (up 12%) and 230,000 domestic visitors (up 6%).

Quang Nam’s tourism income for August was approximately 1,786 billion VND, with a total of 13,090 billion VND for the year so far.

In August 2024, numerous festivals were held across the province, including the "Cu Lao Cham - Red Field Cornflower Season" Festival, the 6th Ngoc Linh Ginseng Festival, the A Rieu Chili Festival, the Quang Nam Traditional Crafts Festival 2024, etc.
