(QNO) - In addition to exhibitions showcasing notable OCOP products, the Bac Tra My district's Ethnic Cultural Festival 2024 (scheduled for October 27-28) will also feature recreations of unique cultural spaces of the local ethnic minority communities.
This year’s festival will feature a variety of cultural activities, including reenactments of traditional living spaces, cultural spaces, and local cuisine and specialties, as well as traditional folk games of the ethnic communities.
Highlights will include the rice spirit procession, water trough worship, and new rice harvest celebration rituals; a gong and drum performance competition; and promotional media for Muong village community tourism.
Additionally, a district-level scientific workshop will explore sustainable development of community-based tourism among the ethnic minorities in Bac Tra My.
The festival aims to showcase the unique and traditional cultural heritage of the local ethnic communities.
