(QNO) - The 2nd Ethnic Culture Festival of Bac Tra My district (Quang Nam province) will take place on October 27 & 28. This is a significant cultural event for the Kinh, Ca Dong, Co, Xo Dang, Muong, and other ethnic communities in the highland district of Bac Tra My.
The event celebrates the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Tra My District Party Committee (October 28, 1949 - October 28, 2024) and aims to preserve ethnic cultural values while promoting tourism and local socio-economic development.
The festival features key activities such as a reenactment of the rice soul ritual, the festival's opening ceremony, photo exhibition; displaying typical agricultural, rural industrial products and local OCOP products.
The festival will also include workshop on sustainable community tourism, gong festival, recreation of cultural spaces, traditional games, showcase of local cuisine and products.
