(QNO) - A training workshop titled "Enhancing green human resource management skills towards sustainable employment" was held in Hoi An city on December 5.
The workshop, organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), emphasized the need for high-productivity, specialized jobs tied to sustainable, green growth in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
VCCI Vice Chairman Hoang Quang Phong highlighted the importance of improving human resource quality and green labor management.
At the workshop, delegates presented discussions on topics such as promoting sustainable business development and greener jobs, the role of employer representative organizations in guiding and supporting green human resource management.
The event provided an opportunity for international experts and managers to share valuable experiences in implementing labor skills development programs and support policies in various countries. These contributions offered insights into effective models for encouraging businesses to adopt green human resource management practices, meeting labor demands in the new context.
The workshop also fostered collaboration among employer representative organizations within ASEAN in this field.
