(QNO) - According to the Da Nang Statistics Office, in the first 5 months of 2024, the total number of tourists staying in Da Nang city increased up 22.9% compared to the same period last year. International tourists increased by 27%.
In the first five months of 2024, Da Nang's revenue from accommodation and dining services is estimated at 10,503 billion VND, up 22.2% compared to the same period last year.
In the first five months of the year, tour service revenue reached 2,534 billion VND, up 61.2% compared to the same period last year.
The number of tourists on organized tours reached 502 thousand, an increase of over 10% from the same period in 2023. International tourists increased by 58.4%, while domestic tourists decreased by 9.8%, and Vietnamese tourists traveling abroad increased by over 32% compared to the same period in 2023.
