(QNO) - On March 26th, Vietnam Railways Corporation, in coordination with the People's Committees of Thua Thien Hue province and Da Nang city, inaugurated a dedicated train service connecting Hue and Da Nang.
The "Central Heritage Connection" train route, initially with 5 modern air-conditioned soft seat carriages and 1 community activity carriage, promises to be an impressive "mobile check-in" spot for tourists.
On the opening day, the train consists of 10 carriages, including 2 community carriages where passengers can enjoy cuisine and cultural performances. In April, Wi-Fi will be installed on the train to serve passengers.
At Da Nang and Hue stations, VIP waiting rooms are available for passengers, and travelers can also enjoy local specialties during the journey.
With a 3-hour journey, the train will pass through the Hai Van Pass, renowned as "the world’s most marvelous wonder". Passengers can enjoy the breathtaking scenery where the Truong Son mountain range meets the vast ocean, representing the convergence of the North and South regions.
With two trains departing in the morning and evening from Hue to Da Nang and vice versa, passengers can enjoy either sunrise or sunset over Lang Co Bay, one of the world's most beautiful bays.
