(QNO) - The Management Board of Cham Islands Marine Protected Area (MPA, Quang Nam) released 115 turtles to the sea after hatching out at Bai Bac.
The number of the baby turtles released to the sea hatched out from 250 eggs transported from Con Dao National Park (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) to Cham Islands on the 26th day of last month.
The Management Board of Cham Islands MPA is keeping on observing the rest eggs in Bai Bac to identify the quality of the baby turtles.
It is known that it is the 3rd time the sea turtle eggs that were moved to Cham Islands from Con Dao National Park have hatched out successfully. It is planned to transport 500 turtle eggs from Con Dao to Cham Islands in August, 2018.
