100 Tet gifts from Lifestart Foundation to students in Quang Nam

(QNO) - In partnership with the Quang Nam Union of Friendship Organisations, the Australian Lifestart Foundation distributed 100 Tet gifts, including food essentials like rice, cooking oil, and toiletries, to disadvantaged students in Quang Nam.

The Lifestart Foundation provided 80 gifts to students from Kpa Kơlơng Primary School (Phuoc Gia commune, Hiep Duc district). They are mainly from ethnic minority groups. 20 others were sent to scholarship recipients in the province. The total value of the gifts exceeded USD 2,000 (equivalent to VND 50 million).

Founder of Lifestart Foundation Karen Leonard always highlights the organisation’s commitment to education, health, and quality of life for disadvantaged students. She hoped that the gifts would ease challenges and inspire students to pursue education, personal growth, and meaningful contributions to society.

The program of distributing gifts and essential supplies to disadvantaged students in Central Vietnam is an annual activity of the Lifestart Foundation.

In 2024, the foundation provided 85 essential supplies to students in Dong Giang and Bac Tra My districts in Quang Nam, with a total cost of USD 2,400 (approximately VND 60 million).

In addition, the Lifestart Foundation gave 63 bicycles to underprivileged students striving to overcome challenges in Dong Giang, Phuoc Son, and Duy Xuyen.
