(QNO) - A delegation of health experts from the World Health Organisation (WHO) led by Dr. Vu Minh Huong has visited Hoi An for the local Covid-19 prevention and vaccination.
Cam Chau, Cam Thanh and Cam Ha are their destination where there are a large number of foreigners living.
There are 15 places for Civid-19 vaccination in Hoi An with a capacity of approximately 500-800 people a day a place. The vaccination obeys the regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control.
Currently, the number of people getting the first Covid-19 vaccination is 68,106 (accounting for 87.34%) and 6,828 people have the second. Nearly 99% of foreigners living in Hoi An have been vaccinated, over 70% of them got the second.
Hoi An is attempted to reach 95% of residential people vaccinated by the end of this year. The city is also asking for a proper vaccine for the elderly and patients with underlying health conditions.
Reportedly, Hoi An is one of the localities in Quang Nam that are given a priority in vaccine distribution. The city is also highly appreciated in its Covid-19 prevention and control.
