Wernigerode – Hoi An cooperation in climate change adaptation

(QNO) - A Wernigerode – Hoi An international workshop was organized in Wernigerode city (Germany) on May 2-3 with the participation of representatives from German, Vietnamese and the Philippines’ localities. Among them is the delegation from Hoi An city, Quang Nam province.

The workshop aimed to strengthen the cooperation between German and Southeast Asian localities in climate change reduction, world cultural heritage conservation, sustainable environment protection, green tourism development, renewable energy, and garbage reduction.

Earlier, Wernigerode city sponsored Hoi An city for a 170,000 euro- electricity energy project with 172 solar panels.
