(QNO) - As summer arrives, Quang Nam province bursts into colour with blooming flowers across lakes, fields, streets, and forests, turning the region into a floral wonderland for visitors.
Lotus flowers are in full bloom across Tam Ky, Thang Binh, Duy Xuyen, and Dien Ban, painting the ponds pink and filling the air with a gentle fragrance.
In Tam Thang, the 200-hectare Dam River lotus field, which is dubbed the city’s green lung, now includes 5 hectares for tourism.
At dawn, visitors can drift through lotus fields by boat, breathing in the fragrance and listening to stories from locals.
In addition, Tra Ly’s lotus fields sit beneath Hon Tau Mountain, while Binh Quy pond in Thang Binh, beside the railway, charms visitors as trains pass by swaying pink blossoms.
Each summer, Hoi An’s old town glows with bougainvillaea in shades of pink, red, and orange, adding charm to its quiet streets. Visitors often ride cyclos to enjoy the relaxed pace and blooming beauty.
Popular stops include Phuc Nguyen Rose Garden, known for rare roses and floral teas, and Ca Ban garden in Tam Ky, where daisies, sunflowers, and cosmos offer a colourful countryside escape.
In July, Cu Lao Cham bursts into fiery red as Firmiana simplex blooms, painting hillsides against blue seas and white sands. This brief but stunning season draws more visitors each year, with new events planned to celebrate it.
