(QNO) - According to the Circular No. 157/2015/TT-BTC recently issued by Vietnamese Ministry of Finance, from November 23rd 2015, foreigners will pay US$25 for a single-entry visa and US$50 for a visa valid for three months or less when they visit Viet Nam. However, a long-term visa fee will remain. The fee for visas valid for more than three to six months is 95 USD. It is 135 USD for more than six months to one year ones , US$145 for those from one year to two years; and a visa from over two years to five years is US$155.
Particularly, the visa fee from one to two years will increase from US$100 to US$145. It will be US$155, instead of the current US$120 for over two years to five years visas.
The fees for visa transfer and for a new one will fall from US$15 to US$5 and the fee for amending and supplementing visa contents will be removed instead of US$10.
Reportedly, a few months ago, a 15-day visa is free for the passports from five European countries, namely the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, which has attracted more international visitors to Viet Nam.
