Vinatex invests more than 1,000 billion VND to build 3 plants in Quang Nam

(QNO) - In 2015, Vinatex will invest approximately 1,145 billion VND to build the Huong An yarn– textile – garment Complex in Huong An commune, Que Son district, Quang Nam province, covering an area of 20ha.

The yarn factory is anticipated having 30,000 spins with a production of 4,600 tons/year. A knitted fiber textile factory with synchronous and high quality production line has a capacity of 5,000 tons/year. Huong An garment factory with 20 knitted production lines is expected about 20 – 25 million knitted products/year. Besides a wastewater treatment plant will also be built,  working at a capacity of 5.000 m3/day. Until now, the project has completed the site agreement with an area of 6.7ha that is waiting for clearance.

According to Mr. Tran Van Pho, the Deputy Director of Vinatex, Huong An Complex belongs to Vinatex’s investment promoting policy in Central Region, especially in Quang Nam - Danang.

This is one of the important projects of Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement. Put into working, this project will provide materials not only to Quang Nam but also to other provinces/cities such as: Danang, Phu Yen… (as well as) The complex is also expected to make diversified, high quality textile products that meet demands of consumption and export.

The revenue in the first phase of this project is expected about 1,700 billion VND/year, contributing to Quang Nam’s budget about 30 -  35 billion VND/year and creating jobs to 2,000 workers in Que Son district and others with an average income of 4-5 million VND/person/month.
