Vietnamese Lunar New Year Festival in Hoi An city

(QNO) - On the occasion of the Vietnamese Lunar New Year (called  Tet), Hoi An city in Quang Nam province welcomed many tourists from Europe, the US and Australia. Tet is becoming a tourism product of international travel companies and Hoi An is chosen as a special destination.

Hoi An city attracts tourists not only for the World Cultural Heritages but also for local people, culture, landscapes, ecology, especially the atmosphere of the Tet holiday.

According to Roland Stucki - a representative of the international travel company Experience Our Asia in Central Vietnam, his company has chosen Hoi An as a destination for his customers on the Tet holiday thanks to its culture, Tet flavours and the residents' heart here. Most of the tourists hoped to come back Hoi An city to welcome Tet in the next time.

Mr John and his wife said they were very impressed by the way of greeting the Lunar New Year in Hoi An. It was the third time they had welcomed Tet in Hoi An city.

Head cook of Fullmoon Town Hoi An restaurant Le Minh Chinh said although he could not come home to welcome Tet, he felt happy to serve his international guests, give and take the greetings and wishes of a happy new year in Vietnamese language.
