Vietnam tourism booth at International Tourism Expo Japan 2017

(QNO) - JATA (Japan Association of Travel Agents) Tourism Expo Japan 2017 will be organized in Tokyo from  21 to 14 September. It is one of the world largest annual travel expos in Japan.

The event usually attracts the participation of hundreds of businesses, national tourism managers, localities, airlines, travels and media agencies from countries and territories around the world.

This year, Vietnamese booth at the expo covering an area of 70m2 introduces specific tourism products and services of Vietnam localities such as Ninh Binh, Ha Long, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta. Especially, the Roadshow program will display the destinations of Ha Noi, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam. Besides meeting and exchange with Japanese businesses and media agencies, Vietnam delegation has a traditional art performance at the booth.

In 2016, Vietnam welcomed 740,592 Japanese tourists, up 10.3% against 2015. In the first 8 months of this year, Vietnam received 518,028 Japanese arrivals, up 7.4% compared with the same period last year.
