(QNO) - A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on tourism promotion and development project has been signed by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam, Index Creative Village Co. Ltd., and Vietnam Center Co. Ltd. in Thailand.

According to the MoU, the Thai companies will help Quang Nam organize the activities in the framework of the 6th Quang Nam Heritage Festival 2017. They include Hoi An light Festival on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2017, Hoi An Festival Night Market, the opening and closing ceremonies of the Festival, Hoi An international marathon 2017, clean agriculture and tourism integration, attracting investment to the high-quality International School of Tourism project and several other items.
Reportedly, the project will be done immediately to enhance the effectiveness of Quang Nam tourism promotion.
Besides two world cultural heritages (Hoi An ancient town, My Son Sanctuary), Quang Nam is home to Cham Islands World Biosphere Reserve and over 60 national and provincial level cultural heritages. All of them are big advantage and potential for Quang Nam tourism to develop.
