Vietnam‘s tourism ranks 7th globally in term of destination growth

According to the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, international searches related to Vietnam tourism have increased by approximately 10 - 25% since the beginning of the year, ranking 7th globally. Vietnam is also the only Southeast Asian destination to make it into the global top 10.

According to data from Google Destination Insights, the top 10 most searched Vietnamese cities by international tourists are: Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Vung Tau, Da Lat, Phan Thiet and Hue.

The top markets searching for Vietnam tourism include the United States, India, Australia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Taiwan (China), Malaysia and Hong Kong (China).

In the first four months of 2025, Vietnam's tourism sector welcomed over 7.6 million international arrivals, marking a 23.8% increase compared to the same period last year.
