The 3rd National Forum on Development of Digital Technology Businesses 2021 themed “Digital transformation - the driving force for economic recovery and development” has just been organised in both offline and online forms.
Leaders of the Government, the Party, the National Assembly, ministries, localities and hundreds of experts, and domestic and foreign technology enterprises took part in the event.
The forum discussed solutions and breakthrough digital transformation platforms on which industries and sectors recover and develop during and after the Covid-19 epidemic. Digital transformation will be the driving force for economic recovery and development.
According to the Ministry of Information and Communications, Vietnam has nearly 60,000 digital technology businesses now.
Over the past two years, Vietnamese businesses mastered various digital transformation platforms. In 2020, more than 30 Vietnamese platforms were announced by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
In 2021, several Vietnamese businesses have also turned to research and master new technologies such as 5G, AI, and Big data.
The Covid-19 outbreak is considered as one of the reasons for many countries, including Vietnam, to quickly change their operations into the digital environment.
The development and promotion of digital transformation are urgent requirements, helping start-ups and traditional models exist and develop.
The National Forum on Development of Digital Technology Businesses was first held in 2019. It is an annual large-scale event for Vietnamese digital technology businesses.
