(QNO) - After two years of closure due to Covid-19, Vietnam tourism is bustling with tourists again, expecting to welcome 65 tourist arrivals in 2022 including 5 million international ones.
Reportedly, Quang Nam with a long - standing history and cultural traditions, an important geopolitical and geo-economic position, beautiful landscapes, and especially two UNESCO’s world cultural heritages of Hoi An ancient town and My Son Sanctuary, Cu Lao Cham World Biosphere Reserve has potential for tourism development.
The province is also famous with Bay Mau nipa palm forest, Bai Choi art – a UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage of humanity, and traditional craft villages of Tra Que vegetables, Kim Bong carpentry, Thanh Ha pottery.
So, Quang Nam has become a bright spot on the tourist map of Vietnam and of the world.
Hoi An was named as “Asia’s Leading Cultural City Destination” in 2019 and 2021 by World Travel Awards, one of the most romantic places in the world in 2022 by Time Out Magazine (United Kingdom).
The National Tourism Year – Quang Nam 2022 under the theme “Quang Nam – A Green Tourism Destination” is a typical cultural - economic - social event at national and international scales. It is also the largest annual tourism event of Vietnam.
Accordingly, the National Tourism Year 2022 will have 192 events. Among them are 10 national-scale activities organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, 62 events in Quang Nam province, 120 activities in 40 provinces and cities nationwide.
The National Tourism Year – Quang Nam 2022 Quang Nam is expected to contribute to reviving Vietnam’s tourism industry.
