(QNO) - Based on the data from the Chinese travel data platform Qunar, Vietnam was among the top 10 foreign destinations favored by Chinese tourists.
According to Qunar, the top 10 favourite destinations for the May Day holiday 2024 for Chinese tourists were Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, the United States, the Philippines, and Australia.
The number of searches from China for trips to Vietnam also almost bounced back to pre-pandemic levels, reaching 95% compared to 2020.
Vietnam received about 1.25 million Chinese visitors in the first 4 months of this year. China has always been in the top 10 largest international tourist markets in Quang Nam province over the years.
