(QNO) - Dong Giang Cong Troi (Heaven’s Gate) ecotourism site is located in Ma Cooih and Ka Giang communes of Dong Giang district (Quang Nam province).
It is the first tourism project to be set up in the high mountainous region of Quang Nam province.
The first phase of the project covers an area of 120 hectares with an investment capital of VND 2600 billion. It is expected to come into operation in the 2nd quarter of 2022.
The National Tourism Year 2022 under the theme “Quang Nam- A Green Tourism Destination” will be hosted by Quang Nam province.
The ecotourism site of Cong Troi in Dong Giang will become a new tourist attraction on this occasion.
It is hoped to create motivation for local economic development, contribute to the local labour restructuring and job creation.
The project is also believed to create a new chance for investors in Dong Giang and other mountainous districts of Quang Nam province.
Dong Giang Cong Troi ecotourism site coming into operation will link tourist attractions along the Ho Chi Minh trail and in provincial mountainous region to those in the coastal plain.
So, it is necessary for Quang Nam to upgrade the infrastructure in the mountainous areas and develop more neighbour tourist attractions in order to make a complete network that contributes to the local socioeconomic development and livelihood improvement for ethnic minorities.
