(QNO) - A seminar “Sustainable livelihood through the green finance fund to forest protection and biodiversity conservation in Dong Giang district” was held by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Dong Giang district’s People's Committee (Quang Nam province) last weekend.
The event aims to inform about the result of project to help people in Quang Nam’s mountainous region promote their agricultural products. The project is funded by USAID and implemented by the Microfinance and Community Development Institute (MACDI) from August 2018 to September 2020.
In particular, MACDI has opened training courses to improve local’s capacities of cultivation, techniques of sustainable harvesting and production and preliminary processing of Morinda Officinalis product. Therefore, the participants are equipped with the most up-to-date and standard knowledge to improve productivity and product quality.
