(QNO) - The Tourism & Summer Camp programme in the countryside of Quang Nam province is a type of tourism that provides children with chances to explore nature and local culture, learn survival skills, and improve their English proficiency.
The programme is held for kids and teens aged 7–18 without parents every two weeks in different places in Quang Nam, such as Hoi An, Thang Binh, and Phu Ninh.
Taking part in the programme, besides experiencing and exploring the destination, children are guided to deal with some urgent and dangerous situations, including first aid skills.
It helps the participants increase their sense of confidence and reduce the possibility of injury in dangerous situations.
In addition, children are provided with opportunities for practising communication skills in foreign languages, as well as knowledge of environmental protection, survival, and shelter capacity in accordance with a green lifestyle without technological devices.
Quang Nam has beautiful countryside and a lot of craft villages, which becomes potential for tourism development, especially for kids.
