(QNO) - The event of National Tourism Year 2022 will be opened on March 25, 2022. It will be a chance for Quang Nam’s tourism recovery and development.
According to Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Tan, the National Tourism Year 2022 themed “Quang Nam - A Green Tourism Destination” will create an opportunity for Quang Nam’s tourism to recover and thrive again, promote the image of Vietnam in general and Quang Nam in particular to tourists at home and abroad.
The event will include interesting activities and events to introduce the culture, heritages and tourism potential of Quang Nam province.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Doan Van Viet said the National Tourism Year 2021 was a great chance to attract international and domestic tourists.
He also asked the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and relevant agencies to support Quang Nam to successfully host the programme and popularise its activities to the public.
Quang Nam is home to Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary - 2 UNESCO World Cultural Heritages, The Cham Islands World Biosphere Reserve, and many unique festivals attracting a lot of visitors around the world.
