(QNO) - As the team leader of tourism linkages between 5 provinces and cities in Central Vietnam, including Quang Nam, Danang, Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Tri, and Quang Binh, Quang Nam is planning to implement a lot of activities in order to attract more visitors and tourists to the region.
According to the plan, a lot of national and international events and festivals will be held in 5 localities in 2023, including Vietnam International Choir Competition - Hoi An 2023 taking place in April, “Hue - Capital of Gastronomy” Festival in May, Danang International Fireworks Festival in June and July, Phong Nha - Ke Bang Festival in July and August, Ngoc Linh Ginseng - Vietnamese Ginseng Festival in August.
At the same time, these five localities will coordinate to popularise their tourism products and services and promote for tourism development.
Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien- Hue, Danang, and Quang Nam have great potential for tourism development, in which cultural heritage tourism and natural tourism are key types.
