(QNO) - Metaverse platform for tourism promotion has just been officially launched by Hoi An city, Quang Nam province. Earlier, Hoi An city collaborated with Bizverse through a tourism digital transformation project called Hoi An Metaverse to promote Hoi An tourism to the public.
Accordingly, relics, attractions, traditional craft villages in Hoi An city are digitized in 3D images, a 360 – degree virtual space.
Via the technology, visitors have a more realistic view of Hoi An's images, thereby optimizing visitors' tour decisions.
On this occasion, leaders of Hoi An city talked about Hoi An’s efforts to become a creative city, joining UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the field of crafts and folk arts.
The documents will be submitted by June 2023.
