There are 9 districts in the Quang Nam mountainous region, home to many ethnic minorities with a variety of indigenous cultural traditions.

There are also a lot of monuments and beautiful natural landscapes there. The climate is always cool. They are suitable for tourism development.

Visitors to the Quang Nam mountainous region are usually interested in natural landscapes and ethnic traditional cultures there.

They go to primeval forests of fokienia, ironwood, rhododendron, ancient banyan; ginseng and medicinal herb gardens, especially Ngoc Linh ginseng places.

At the same time, visitors also spend time experiencing daily living activities and unique cultural traditions of the indigenous ethnic minorities.

Nam Tra My district has planned for the tourism development in the Ngoc Linh ginseng region.

In the coming time, the district will upgrade the roads to Tak Ngo Ngoc Linh ginseng garden, to Ngoc Linh peak, and to community-based tourism sites.
