Tran Thi Kim Soi, founder of SOI Handmade, makes a lot of products from recycled fabric.

Earlier, it was discharged directly into the environment from garment factories around Hoi An city.

SOI products include hairpins, hair ties, earrings, turbans, cloth bags, and clothes. They are sold online and offline.

Besides, SOI products are consigned at tourist attractions and hotels. They help to spread the message about the environment protection.

The Timeless is known as a non-profit environmental organisation under Hoi An Express Travel Trading Service Company Limited.

The employees of the company, students, and visitors make about 200 bags from recycled paper, contributing to building Hoi An - a green city without plastic bags.

Besides, there are some regular activities such as cleaning of the Hoai River banks in Hoi An, free hair cutting for the lonely elderly, warm clothes to the highlands.

Enjoying a green lifestyle, turning waste into useful and valuable products has recently become a trend in Hoi An.

The young in Hoi An make wood carving products from firewood in flood, turn leftovers and fruit peels into organic fertilizers, soap, etc.
