(QNO) - A plan for developing and managing the accommodation network towards 2025 has been issued by the Hoi An People’s Committee.
Accordingly, all types of accommodation specified in Article 48 of the 2017 Tourism Law are allowed to develop. However, motels are limited; hotel-ships and campgrounds are encouraged.
Villas and homestays are also encouraged in Tan Hiep commune.
The development of homestays in the alleys and craft villages is also encouraged but required to preserve the relics and cultural values.
Reportedly, there were 841 accommodation establishments with 12,483 rooms by the end of 2022.
Homestays accounted for the largest proportion with 408 establishments, providing 12.88% of the total number of rooms. The number of hotel rooms got the highest proportion, 68.35%.
