The Metaverse for My Son Sanctuary is based on three technology platforms: VR360, Metaverse spy, and 3D Map.

VR360 helps visitors have a reality-like experience when they are on a tour around My Son Sanctuary online.

Metaverse spy supports visitors to walk, interact, and take photos in the My Son Sanctuary via their avatar.

3D Map is made with the actual scale and location of My Son Sanctuary, which facilities its usage.

All the places of My Son Sanctuary are now digitalised; therefore, visitors can access it easily via smart devices.

Smart and virtual reality tourism has become a global trend. It has been applied effectively in some places in Vietnam, such as Hanoi, Quang Ninh, and Hue.

The development of tourism products based on digital platform is the objective My Son Sanctuary is now pursuing.

Besides some projects on digital transformation such as digitalising artefacts at the museum and monuments, multi-lingual voiceover, and e-tickets, the 360-degree tourism product is deployed to improve the quality of tourism products in My Son.

According to the Management Board of My Son Sanctuary,  the digital transformation will be continuously implemented there.

It is divided into two phases. Firstly, My Son will develop a VR360 website for the heritage, integrating a virtual MC and a digital museum on the Bizverse’s 3D world map.

Next, the interface of the website will be upgraded and updated to create an exhibition space for the museum on Metaverse so that visitors can easily access the website and interact there.
