(QNO) - Quang Nam province and the Tourism Promotion Representative Office of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in South Korea (RO) signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on tourism cooperation on July 27.
Accordingly, the two sides will build a strategic cooperation relationship to strengthen Quang Nam tourism promotion in South Korea and vice versa, setting up a hotline to promptly solve the problems Korean tourists may have.
The RO will share with South Korean travel agencies, related organizations and tourists the database of major tourist attractions and information about travel companies in Quang Nam. At the same time, the RO will support Quang Nam tourism activities in South Korea.
The two sides will promote cultural exchange and investment between Vietnamese and South Korean agencies and businesses.
Before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, South Korea was Quang Nam's largest international tourist market.
In the first 6 months of 2023, South Korea was also the province's largest international tourist market, accounting for more than 22% of the total number of international visitors to Quang Nam.
