(QNO) - On the occasion of Lao traditional New Year Boun Pi Mai, the Vietnam’s delegation of Quang Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, Quang Nam province’s Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association and Tien Phuoc district’s Red Cross Society and Minh Tam Charity branch (Ho Chi Minh city) has examined, treated, performed free eye surgery and offered presents to the poor in Ka Lum and Sekong provinces of Laos.

Especially at the meeting with Mr Bualapha- Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association, the Vietnamese delegation agreed with Sekong province about the common plans in the coming time, particularly on the 55th founding anniversary of diplomatic relationship and the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Laos friendship and cooperation treaty in 2017.
