It can be seen that the 300m coastline from Hoi An beach hotel to An Bang beach has been being extended to create a new flat sandy beach about 7 - 10m wide. The beach is estimated to recover about 60% of the volume of sand swept away. The recovery of the beach will no longer threaten the locals’ lives and create their opportunities to do businesses.

According to Hoi An authorities, it is very significant that a new sand beach has been formed by the sand deposition at Cua Dai beach. It is the result of the soft embankment solution that the local authorities have carried out with the hope of retaining Cua Dai beach.

Thanks to this initial effect, Hoi An city has been supported VND40 billion by the Vietnam Government to go on the solutions to beach anti-erosion and recovery.
