(QNO) - In recent years, the Quang Nam Federation of Labour has established relationships with trade union organizations from other countries, engaging in mutual learning and cooperation on an equal footing.
Since 2019, the Sekong Federation of Trade Unions (Laos) and the Quang Nam provincial Federation of Labour have had a cooperative relationship, regularly exchanging visits to promote education and class consciousness among their members.
Mr. Luu Van Thuong, Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam Federation of Labour, stated that the trade unions of Quang Nam and Sekong have exchanged experiences in member recruitment, grassroots union establishment, innovating content and methods, and improving the quality of trade union activities.
They also shared experiences in financial management and collective labor agreements.
The Quang Nam Federation of Labour visited Gyeongnam province (South Korea) in 2024 after signing a cooperation agreement with the Gyeongnam Federation of Trade Unions in 2023.
During these visits, they discussed collaboration and worked on building and enhancing their friendly partnership.
The cooperation activities are conducted in compliance with the laws of both countries, aiming to protect the legal rights and interests of workers, enhance social welfare, and promote exchanges between the people of Vietnam and South Korea.
