(QNO) - From June 6 to 29, 2025, Quang Nam province is hosting the “Culture, Sports and Tourism Days” across Hoi An, Tam Ky, Dien Ban, and Duy Xuyen.
With the theme “The Green Land of Heritage”, the event celebrates local culture, promoting green development and community well-being.
The opening ceremony took place on June 6 at Hoi An Impression Theme Park. It welcomed leaders from tourism authorities, international consulates, and thousands of locals and visitors.
Deputy Chairman Phan Thai Binh highlighted the province’s commitment to preserving heritage and advancing sustainable tourism.
The programme was designed with a rich mix of festivals and activities, including: Flying Over the Land of Heritage Festival; Tam Ky Sea Festival 2025; Quang Noodle Festival; Kim Bong Countryside Market; Bai Choi Folk Singing Festival; International Yoga Festival and sports competitions such as paragliding, football, and swimming.
National treasures housed in Quang Nam are also on display, underscoring the province’s historical and cultural depth.
Quang Nam is home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites (Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary), the Cu Lao Cham – Hoi An Biosphere Reserve, 20 national intangible heritage elements, and over 460 historic and scenic sites.
With its focus on becoming a green, safe, and friendly destination, this event boosts investment, tourism promotion, and global connectivity. Authorities are also ensuring public security, traffic safety, and environmental protection throughout the festivities.
